Unipipe Underfloor heating is connected to a Nibe 1330-30kW heatpump for both heating and cooling. The heat pump is able to either draw or reject heat from the building to three 150M deep boreholes in the rock below the garage. Heat built up over the summer in this rock then boosts the efficiency in winter time. With such a large glass building this was an 'invisible' and clever way to utilise the solar gain.
