When architects Fitzpatrick & Mays needed to upgrade the heating of this extension and renovation, Unipipe provided many innovative ideas to help bring this project to fruition
Unipipe floor heating was cast into the floor slab of the new extension. In the older parts of the original building a new layer was added over the existing floors with our Unipipe Lightweight system which took only 25mm of extra floor height. Admont 10" wide oak flooring was placed directly onto the Unipipe floor system.
The heating source is the back garden!...using a 15kW heatpump from Nibe, we collect nature's free energy from two 300m long circuits buried in the earth.
